Police arrested Gagan Tamata, 24, Than Tamata, 26, Krishna Tamata, 31, and Jaidan Tamata, 33 of Kharpunath rural municipality-3 on May 26, on the charge of physically assaulting 35-year-old Laldhan Tamata  District Chairperson of the Oppressed Ethnic Liberation Society, a sister organization of the CPN-UML. Birjun Sunar, a relative of the victim said that the accused assaulted the victim during a political discussion and he sustained injuries on his head. The victim's side lodged the complaint on May 26 demanding to take legal action against the accused.
