Police arrested Madhusudan Neupane a 30-year-old man also known as Shivakumar on June 7, on the charge of murdering a 70-year-old woman Lilawati Gupta of Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan-18. According to the police, the accused physically assaulted the victim on June 6, night over a minor dispute while buying materials from Gupta's shop. The accused was under the influence of alcohol when she physically assaulted the victim. Gupta died while she was undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.
