Industrialists of Biratnagar have staged a demonstration demanding the resignation of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma. They demonstrated with workers and trade unions saying that the government has not addressed their demands related to steel products and sanitary pads.

According to them, the government policy is killing business people and workers by collecting taxes, during the protest on the Sunsari-Morang. Decisions taken were wrong through the budget of the Fiscal Year 2079-080 BS, for GI wire, vegetable, ghee, and sanitary pads which have created problems for industrialists.
