Arjun Tamang, a 37-year-old man of Madi municipality-6, murdered his 55-year-old mother Devi Tamang with a sharp weapon on June 27 for not giving him money for alcohol. Police arrested Arjun after the incident. According to the police, the accused charged his mother with a sharp weapon, around 100 meters away from their home in a maize field.
