Police on July 12 night arrested five person from the same family on the charge of beating to death 30-year-old Mahesh Bhar, a resident of Gaidahwa Rural Municipality-1, West Bagia, Rupandehi. Police arrested Mahesh's father, 54-year-old Foudar Bhar and four other members of his family. Mahesh Bhar and his wife were injured after they got into a fight with his family members over a financial dispute. Mahesh who sustained serious injury in the incidentdied while undergoing treatment at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
