ANNFSU and the Youth Association affiliated to CPN-UML staged a protest in front of the state assembly building in Pokhara on Tuesday demanding the resignation of Gandaki Chief Minister Krishnachandra Nepali Pokhrel. They protested in front of the state assembly building at Nadipur from 10:30 am for 2 hours due to which the traffic in the area was blocked.

They protested before Chief Minister Pokharel's program in Parliament on Tuesday to respond to issues raised in the budget for the coming fiscal year.

There is widespread protest after Chief Minister Pokharel and other state ministers, MPs and others were found to have allocated crores of rupees in the trusts opened in the name of their parents and relatives. In symbolic protest, ANNFSU started a campaign drive collecting Rs 1 donation to be given to the Gandaki Province government.
