Student unions affiliated to ruling coalition stage demonstration in Baluwatar against Governor

Cadres of student wings of political parties in coalition government staged a demonstration in Baluwatar of Kathmandu on July 17 demanding resignation of governor Maha Prasad Adhikari. The cadres of Nepal Students Union a close aide to Nepali Congress and All Nepal Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), close aide to UCPN Maoist (Center) demonstrated in front of Nepal Rashtra Bank. Some of the demonstrators were arrested by the police and some got injured during the tussle with the police.
