Cadres of Nepali Congress and police clashed in Golanjor rural municipality of Sindhuli on July 24. The clash broke after police tried to intervene when cadres of Nepali Congress were trying to padlock the rural municipal office. Nepali Congress cadres are agitated after 25 contract employees of the rural municipality were terminated. The cadres demanded to extend the period of contract employees.
