35-year-old Arun Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Ramgopalpur Municipality-7 Sahasaula of the district, was stabbed by an unknown group and robbed of five lakh rupees from him. Arun, who was conducting Baisnavi money transfer in his village, was on his way home with money from the cowshed on a motorcycle numbered P 2-02-004 P 3347, when a group of three people on a motorcycle robbed him of the money. The group stopped Arun’s motorcycle and stabbed him in the thigh, injuring him and looting the money. Police said that Arun, who was injured due to stabbing, is being treated at the polyclinic in Gaushala, while the search for the robbers is going on extensively.
