Pokhara: Purna ek patak hatyara pakrau. Police on Saturday night arrested Suraj Pariyar, 24, of Thumakodanda VDC in Kaski for killing Buddhi Bahadur BK, 50, of Dangsingh VDC in cold blood. Pariyar had murdered BK by striking him with a rock and smashing his head while the latter was asleep at around 7:00 am on September 2. The murderer had fled but police arrested him from the house of his relatives where he was hiding. Pariyar confessed his crime. According to police, Pariyar killed BK to rob him of his mobile phone, gold earring and Rs 11,000 that was sent by his son from Malaysia. Both of them had been under the influence of alcohol and according to Pariyar, he had hit BK with the stone, twice on his head, to kill him. Pariyar said, “I fled after taking cash, jewellery and mobile set.”
