20-year-old Arjun Pokharel of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan ward number-12 Kapdevi of Dang was looted and physically assaulted by a group of four persons on August 11.
According to Arjun, four persons including 32-year-old Ghanshyam Pun Magar of Tulsipur-6 Hattikhowa, 29-year-old Janak Nepali of Tulsipur-5, 33-year-old Bam Gharti Magar, and 34-year-old Santosh Oli forcibly took him to a jungle on a car bearing plate number Ba 4 Cha 4890 from his Dreamsland restaurant in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan-6 Rajaura. They took him hostage in the jungle and looted a gold chain of two 22 grams, a gold ring of around 6 grams, a watch, and 50,000 in cash by assaulting him.
Arjun's friends who were looking for him found him in unconscious condition inside the car and took him to Rapti provincial hospital for treatment. According to DSP Pushparaj Malla of Area Police Office, a complaint has been registered and arrest warrant has been issued against all four persons involved in the incident.
