Normal life has been affected due to the nationwide bandh called by four communist parties including Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP).  A suspicious item thought to be improvised explosive device (IED) was found in Sainamaina Municipality of Rupandehi. The item is packaged in a red cloth and wrapped by rope. A bomb disposal team was deployed from Nepalese Army to look into the item, according to inspector Jagannath Marasini of Area Police Office Saljhandi.
