A group of Nepali Congress cadres led by Itahari sub-metropolitan deputy chairman Balkrishna Bista has padlocked the party office on August 30 morning against handing of responsibility in party leadership without following proper regulation and failure to call election review meeting on time. According to Bista, the chairman of Nepali Congress Itahari, they padlocked the office after Hemkarn Paudel, Congress Chairperson of Itahari gave the responsibility of deputy chairperson to Kovitjung Karki  against the regulation of the party.
