Complaint lodged against Ward chairperson on the charge of physically assaulting a general public in Ramechhap

Kesharimaya Newar, a 35-year-old woman of Umakunda rural municipality-7, lodged a complaint on September 11, against Rudramani Newar, 45, Ward chairperson of Umakunda rural municipality in Ramechhap on the charge of physical assault. Kesharimaya alleged that Rudramani assaulted her on September 9. Inspector Raju Prashad Dhakal stated that the woman had filed a complaint against the Ward chairperson and police had summoned him for interrogation.
