Khamma Rawat, 22, of Shanigaon VDC-2 was sent to jail in remand by district court judge Ram Prasad Sharma. On 9, along with Khamma, Nain Rawat, 20 and Megh Bahadur Rawat, 20, were accused by the family of a 12-year-old girl of raping her on July 3. A case of rape was filed against them on July 13. All accused were absconding following the incident. Of them, Khamma was arrested in Kathmandu by Metropolitan Police Koteshwar on August 24 and sent him to Jumla. He was presented at Jumla District Court on September 9. SI Shyam Chaudhary said that the police were searching for other accused.
