Police arrested 39-year-old Grijadevi Tharu, from Tillotama Municipality-15 in Rupandehi on the charge of murder of her husband Jagdish Chaudhary. According to police, Grijadevi killed him by hitting him on the neck and various parts of his body with a sharp weapon while he was sleeping in his room. The police have also arrested 52-year-old Phoolchandra Baniya, a neighbor, who helped her in the murder.  Police said that Grijadevi had a financial and domestic dispute with her husband and that she was in an extra-marital affair with Baniya.
