Bishnu Oli, 19, and his accomplice Sanjiv Rawat, 25, of Sakh VDC-8 have been arrested by the police on September 10 on charge of abducting a 17-year-old girl of Sakh VDC-9 with the intention of marriage. A gang of four including Oli and Rawat had abducted her on Setpember 8 from her home and kept her hostage at Oli’s home. She contacted police on September 10 after managing to flee from the place. A student of grade 11, the girl was living alone at her home as her parents are in India for work. Saying that the police would investigate the case and take further action, Inspector Shivaraj Chhetri of District Police Office said they were also searching for other two accomplices.
