An unidentified group of people vandalized the network tower of Nepal Telecom located at Chankheli rural municipality-6 of Humla on September 26. Local Ravindra Devkota said that 6,600 local service users of Chankheli Rural Municipality were deprived of the service when the tower was vandalized. Constable Ishwar Budhathoki of Melchham Police Station informed that the person involved in the incident is being searched for. According to President Shahi, the central office of Nepal Telecom informed that the repair work will not be carried out until the tower's safety is fully guaranteed, so a letter of representation has also been written and submitted to Telecom on behalf of the rural municipality.
