Tribhuwanbasti Area Police Office has arrested two persons on September 13 on charge of making a charge of witch against Hemanti Tamang, 37, of Punarbas Municipality. Sanu Tamang, 27, and Sharada Tamang, 32, had accused Hemanti of being a witch and physically assaulted her on September 9 when she was alone at home. Hemanti has sustained chest and face injuries in the incident. Police said they were investigating the case on the basis of the complaint.
