A teacher of Yamunamai Higher Secondary School, Jay Chandra Yadav, 50, of in Basbitti VDC-6 has been arrested on September 12 on charge of sexually abusing his student. Yadav was handed over to the police by the girl’s guardians, other teachers of the school and students. The students, angered by the information of abuse of their friend, had even thrashed the accused teacher. The tension led to suspension of studies in the school. District Police Office says that the police are investigating the case adding if found guilty, charge of violence against women would be pressed against Yadav. B
