Local residents of Kaudena rural municipality-3, which falls under Sarlahi's Representative Assembly Constituency-2, staged a demonstration on November 3, by restricting the election candidates and their representatives from entering their village accusing them of not paying attention towards developing the dilapidate road in the village. The local residents staged a demonstration after the different political parties started to campaign targeting the state and House of Representatives elections to be held on November 20. The demonstrators displayed placards stating " No roads, No Vote". 

Pachu Chaudhary Kalwar, ward chairperson of Kaudena rural municipality 3 stated that they had to protest because the leaders and leadership had repeatedly betrayed them by ignoring to upgrade the dilapidated road in the village. . He alleged that due to the fact that the Postal highway was in ruins and dusty, the health of the villagers was also affected by the dust.
