An unidentified group of people torched two trucks and a motorcycle in Kapilvastu. According to the police, the group set on fire a motorcycle  bearing plate number Lu 5 Pa 9287 in front of the gate of house of Birendra Kanodia, Nepali Congress candidate from Kapilvastu constituency number 3  for the House of Representatives election.  Likewise, the group also torched two trucks bearing plate numbers Karnali Pradesh 029001 Kha 0578 and Na 5 Kha 1453. According to police, pamphlets purpotedly circulated by Nepal Janatantrik Mukti Morcha (Convenor Bikrant) which has vowed to oppose the election was found at the scene of the incident. Police are further investigating the incident.
