Industrialists and Businessmen of Janakpur staged a demonstration in Dhanusha on November 10 against increase in interest rate on loans by banks and financial institutes. The protesting entrepreneurs submitted a memorandum to the finance minister through the chief district officer saying that the double digit interest rate is unsustainable. The demonstrators displayed placards against banks and increased interest rate.
