Police arrested eight cadres of CPN (Majority) led by Dharmendra Bastola from outside Bhrikuti Secondary school polling center in Bhimdatta municipality-4 of Kanchanpur on the charge of engaging in anti-election activities. The arrested were distributing pamphlets calling for boycott of the election outside the polling center.
