Banke/September 21 Police have arrested Mehammad Sabir of Thana Rupaidiya Kewalpur in Baharaich, India on September 21 on charge of setting his wife on fire. Saijahana Begum Kawadia Ray, 35, was brought to Bheri Zonal Hospital on September 20 after she was badly burnt on September 19. Saijahana is five-month pregnant, the hospital sources informed saying she was badly injured and there was no one from her family present at the hospital. Though she says that she caught fire from LPG while preparing meal, the police suspect the incident as being a criminal act by the husband. SP Shekhar Koirala said they were coordinating with their Indian counterparts to investigate the case.
