Kaski/September 19 District court has ordered to remand Rahul Shrestha, 19, of Pokhara sub-metropolis-3 in custody on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl after abduction. Judge Ram Prasad Oli sent Shrestha to custody for investigation on September 18. Father of the girl had filed a complaint at the district police office on August 21 accusing Shrestha of taking her to Beni on August 19 and raping her there. Police had started investigation after filing a case of abduction and hostage taking and rape against him on August 25. The DPO said that investigation was ongoing into the case as the whereabouts of the girl is still unknown.
