Khotang/ September 26 Machhe Kumari Rai, 65, of Aiselukharka VDC-7 has lodged a complaint at district police office Diktel on September 23 against her 35-year-old son for beating her in an inebriated state. The victim said that the accused severely beat her over a dispute while she was at her home on September 19. She further complained that the accused also attacked his 66-year-old father Sur Bahadur Rai. The victim is undergoing a medical treatment at primary health center at Aiselukharka. DSP Binod Raj Kharel of DPO said that the legal proceeding has been initiated after arresting the accused.
