The police have arrested a couple for murdering three women. The couple were arrested on the charge of serial murder of three persons in Arghakhanchi, Gulmi and Kapilvastu.

The arrested have been identified as 23-year-old Sushant Singh and his wife 22-year-old Shiva Pariyar from Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

It is alleged that they have been killing old and single women and looting jewelery and cash.

They serially killed 60-year-old Radha Thapa of Sitganga Municipality-10 Bahkhor in Arghakhanchi on January 1, 75-year-old Jeevkala Thapa of Isma Rural Municipality-5 in Gulmi in November and 70-year-old Yogamaya Gaire ofBijayanagar Rural Municipality-4 in Kapilvastu in October.

The police first arrested Sushant and later arrested his wife Shiva of Shitganga-10 in Arghakhanchi on the basis of his statement that she was also involed in the crimes.

The police held a press conference and announced the murder of the three women in Gulmi, Arghakhanchi and Kapilvastu and robbed them of jewelery and cash.
