Bardiya, prahariko kutpitbata teen balak ghayite. Bardiya/September 28 Three boys have sustained injuries when beaten by police at Jagmohan Chok in Gulariya Municipality-1 on September 28. The boys are identified as Yuvraj BK, 14, Pramod Chai, 17, and Deepak Thater, 13, of Gulariya Municipality. Yuvraj has sustained injuries in chest and leg and other two sustained back injuries. One of the boys said that they were assaulted by ASI Hemraj Sharma and a constable accompanying Sharma as they were playing at the chok. SP Birendra Kumar Basyal of District Police Office said that there was no assault on the boys and that the boys were injured when they tried to run away seeing the police. He further promised to take action against the police if found guilty in investigation. All the three boys received treatment at District Hospital, Gulariya.
