Police arrested Shankar Bahadur Chand, the operator of an orphanage in Kanchanpur on the charge of sexually abusing the girls staying there. According to the police, Chand had been sexually abusing girls at the orphanage for a long time. A complaint was lodged against Chand by a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old girl dependent in the orphanage. Police have started an investigation into the incident by holding him in custody.
