Small entrepreneurs and street vendors of Kohalpur municipality in Banke on February 2 demanding to manage carts and street vendors around the municipality. The demonstrators alleged that the municipality tried to evacuate the street vendors by using force and they demanded to assign alternate locations to operate their businesses. The demonstrators requested the municipality to address their problem, to create an environment to do business according to the rules without confiscating goods and arresting them.
