Sunsari/ October 11 District Court Sunsari has remanded three men to jail on October 11 accused of raping a 19-year-old girl. Ram Yadav, 34, Chandra Dev Kumar Yadav, 19 and Saroj Kumar Dev, 19 of Babangamakatti VDC-4, Saptari in Haripur VDC-1 were accused of raping the woman in a truck (Na 3 Kha 323) of which Ram is driver and other two are his helpers. The woman had taken a lift in the truck at Rupani, Saptari. They were caught in the act by the locals and handed over to the police at Bhantabari on September 13. The medical checkup of the woman was conducted at Inaruwa District Hospital on September 14. The District Police Office had filed case of rape on September 15.
