A complaint was lodged against four people in Saptari on the charge of accusing a 37-year-old woman of witchcraft and subjecting her to inhumanely treatment on February 26.  The victim's side alleged that 55-year-old Haider Mian of Chinnamasta Rural Municipality-3, his 50-year-old wife Saifula Khatun, Tawari Mian, Sahina Khatun Batulan Kujarni physically assaulted the victim on March 11, 2022, accusing her of using witchcraft to sicken the son of Sahina Khatun. District Police Office Saptari registered the complaint on the order of High Court Janakpur.
