Bara/October 11 One man has died and two were seriously injured when the police fired at a crowd in a clash at Mahadevsthan of Hariharpur VDC on October 11. Jay Narayan Patel, 42, of Hariharpur VDC-7 died on the spot after being shot in the chest while Nageshwar Sah, 23, of Amritgunj VDC-3 and Sah Mohammad, 28, of Hariharpur VDC-5 were seriously injured. Nageshwar is shot in the back while Mohammad has torso injury.They are being treated at Narayani Sub-zonal Hospital after priliminary treatmetn at Kankali Polyclinic, Simraungadh. Police fired at the crowd after the people asking for road maintenance began pelting stones at the police and torched police vehicle around 1 pm.
