Police arrested junior police personnel Sanjib Yadav, 28-year-old from Manthali on March 1, on the charge of physically assaulting Ramesh Mahato a 25-year-old motorcycle workshop owner of Manthali municipality-1 in Ramechhap. According to the local journalist, both the accused and the victim were under the influence of alcohol when Yadav assaulted Mahato over an economic dispute. According to the police, Mahato sustained injuries on his upper eye. Police are further investigating the incident.
