Makwanpur Industry and Commerce Association staged a demonstration on March 5, in Hetauda protesting against banks and financial institutions for charging 'high interest'. The demonstrators alleged that all industrialists and businessmen had to suffer financially and mentally due to the interest of the banks. As part of the protest against bank interest, Krishna Aggarwal, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, informed that there is a program to hold a peaceful sit-in at Buddhachowk in the Hetauda market on March 8.
