Bomb disposal team of Devidal battalion in Rukum defused the socket bomb found while digging land belonging to a local Tilak Bahadur BK at Khalanga campus, Musikot on October 15, according to chief of the battalion Dambar Bahadur Darlami. The bomb might have been placed during the conflict period by security personnel as District Police Office had secured the area with barbed wire. Likewise, bomb disposal team of Sinha Sardul battalion in Humla has defused a bomb found at an opne filed in front of the forest office in Simikot, said DSP Krishna Bahadur Kunwar. Police suspected that the incessant rainfall of October 15 might have caused the IED to come out after the mud above it was washed away.
