Padlocking at Dhaulagiri campus in Baglung, student union election becomes uncertain

Free Student Union at Dhaulagiri multiple campus of Baglung has been uncertain after nomination could not be filed on Tuesday. ANNFSU, ANNFSU-R, ANNFSU Majority, ANNFSU led by Netra Bikram Chand aka Biplav led Nepal Communist party, and ANNFSU combined panel padlocked Dhaulagiri Campus on March 13 putting different demands. The demonstrators alleged that as the election of the Free student union was near, the different student unions blocked the issuance of a circular signed by an assistant campus head because the atmosphere of the election was disrupted and fake identity cards were found distributed to affect the election. The NSU led by the Nepali Congress broke the padlock demanding to stop the delay in the election and the election process. The NSU chanted slogans demanding to take forward the election process and they demanded the resignation of the College administration and election officer as well as a form of protest. 

Likewise, the demonstrators who padlocked the college also staged a protest after the padlock that they put in was broken. The demonstrators alleged that until and unless their demands are met, they would not let the election to happen.
