Employees of Civil Hospital in New Baneshwor of Kathmandu padlocked the office of the executive director, medical director, and administrative officer on March 20 demanding the resignation of the executive director. The employees of the hospital are on a strike under the leadership of the hospital's official trade union organization after the hospital opened more than 350 vacancies for hospital employees. The employees alleged that the management of the hospital was attempting to hire as they wish without proper understanding between the employees.
