Cadres of Netra Bikram Chanda aka Biplov led CPN padlocked the office of Microfinance and Nirdhan Microfinance Institutions located at Shailya Shikhar municipality-9 in Darchula on March 21 accusing the microfinance institutes of charging high interest rate. The CPN cadres stated that they had padlocked the finance institutes as a warning for causing mentally harassing public by giving loans at high-interest rate.
