Police have arrested Rajaram Yadav, 31, the sub-engineer at District Education Office on charge of raping a 12-year-old girl on October 19 morning. District Police Office’s Inspector Pradhyumna Kumar Adhikari informed that Yadav, who had stayed in a hotel on October 18, had raped the girl next morning. He was arrested at the same hotel after the hotel owner informed the police about the incident. The girl’s guardians have filed a complaint demanding stern action against the accused. Police said that they had begun investigation of the case. Medical checkup of both the accused and the victim was conducted at District Hospital, Trishuli.
