Police recovered the dead body of Rina Budha Magar an 11-year-old girl and her younger sister Kalimaya Budha Magara a 9-year-old teen girl of Putha uttarganga rural municipality-3 on April 6. Police suspect that the victim might have been murdered to loot their jewelry. Both victims went out to pick the nettle plant on April 5 afternoon.

RUKUM EAST, April 9: The police have detained seven people in Rukum East in connection with the killing of two minors. After the dead bodies of two girls were found in Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-3, Ranma, on Thursday, they were arrested in the course of an investigation into the twin murders. On April 5, the dead bodies of two sisters from the same family who had left the house to pick Himalayan nettle plants, were found on April 6 on a hill near their village.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Anjana Shrestha said that the police have detained seven suspects for interrogation on suspicion of their involvement in murdering eleven-year-old Rina Budhamgar and nine-year-old Kalimaya Budhamgar. It has been found that the jewelry worn by both of them was stolen. The police said that the bodies of both the girls were brought to Rukumkot for examination on Saturday. Police have not disclosed the names and addresses of the arrested persons as the investigation is still underway.
