Police arrested Jiban Rana a 28-year-old Dang district chairperson of CPN(Unified Socialist) on April 9 on the charge of physically assaulting Dilli Dangi a 42-year-old Dang district's secretary of CPN(Unified Socialist) residing in Tulsipur sub-metropolis-12. According to the victim, the accused physically assaulted him on April 8 while in a tea shop located at Tulsipur sub-metropolis-5. He further added that he sustained serious injuries to his eyes.
