Banke/ October 27 District police office of Banke has arrested Rajesh Balmiki, 40, of Nepalgunj municipality-12 on October 26 on charge of raping an 8-year-old girl. The victim's family had lodged a complaint at DPO after the victim revealed the incident to the family. According to the police, the victim said that the accused had sexually abused her in many other occasions when her parents were away. She underwent a health checkup at Bheri zonal hospital. DSP Sushil Rathaur of DPO said that the investigation of the incident is underway.
