Kanchanpur/October 30 Saraswati Dhami, 27, of Matena in Bhimdatta Municipality-9 has been seriously injured in the beating by her husband Ramesh Dhami, 29 on October 29. Ramesh, who is also serving Armed Police Force constable, had beaten her on the 11th day naming ritual of their daughter following a minor domestic dispute, Saraswati’s mother Radha Dhami said adding the victim was taken to India for treatment after Mahakali Zonal Hospital said she needed to be in better facility. Saraswati has suffered nose and face injuries. The accused has been detained by APF’s border security force, Gaddachauki on October 29. The natal family of the victim claimed that the District Police Office refused to register the complaint against the accused.
