Khotang/ October 30 The body of Chatur Man Rai, 46, of Sungdel VDC-4 has been exhumed after three days on October 29 from the burial site. The body was exhumed after it was revealed that he was murdered by his wife using a sharp weapon during a domestic dispute. DSP Binod Raj Kharel of DPO Khotang said that the body was found with bruises in the neck after the excavation. He further said that the police were immediately deployed to the incident site for exhumed after it was revealed that the death was a murder. Radhika Rai, wife of the deceased was immediately arrested on October 29. She has confessed to the killing, the police said. Locals said that she murdered her husband with a khukuri and announced him dead in the morning. According to the locals the final rites of Chatur Man's body was performed on October 27. The body of deceased has been taken to the district hospital for postmortem.
