Kanchanpur, 8 barsa balika ko balatkar. An eight-year-old girl was reportedly raped at Krishnapur VDC-4 in the district on Tuesday morning. Acting on a complaint lodged by the victim’s relatives, police arrested Narad Tamrakar of the same village on rape charge. Deputy Superintendent of Police Abinarayan Kafle said preliminary investigation shows that Tamrakar lured the girl with money, took her to a nearby forest and raped her. He said that a medical report of the girl also confirmed that the girl was raped. Police said that they are investigating into the matter.
