Court Sends Rape Accused to Police Custody

Bhaktapur, balatkaar ghatnaka aaropit thunama rakhna adalatko aadesh. Bhaktapur/ November 12 District Court of Bhaktapur has ordered to remand Keshar Thapa, 27, alias Kisan of Nalang VDC-1, Dhading in custody on November 11 on charge of raping two girls, aged 17 and 18. Single bench of District Court Judge Balendra Rupakheti issued the verdict regarding the case. The victim's family had lodged a complaint at Jagati Police Circle, Bhaktapur on October 14 accusing him of raping these victims at Araniko Hotel in Bhaktapur. Both the victims had a health checkup at TU Teaching Hospital on the same day the complaint was lodged. The accused was arrested by the police on October 15.
