Nine Rescued Children Handed Over to Guardians

Rolpa, Itta bhatta ma kaam lagaidine bhandai kathmandu lagidai gareka 9 jana balbalika ko udhar. District Police Office, on November 13, has handed over nine children rescued as they were being taken to Kathmandu to work as brick kiln workers. Police had rescued the children on November 12 as they were being taken to Kathmandu by Bhumika Pun of Hwama VDC-8, DSP Navinraj Rai said. The children’s relatives had reported to the police that they had left home on November 11. They were held at Mewang, near Liwang as they were boarding a bus for Kathmandu. The rescued children were Jun Maya Roka, Jivika Gharti, Bima Budha, Risha Budha, Ram Maya Budha, Rupesh Budha, all 16 years old, Mul Maya Budha, 17, Rabindra Gharti, 14, of Dhabang VDC-6 and Panthakala Budha, 16, of Hwama VDC-8.
