Saptari/ November 13 District Court of Saptari has remanded Kanhaiya Kumar Sah, 19, of Rajbiraj Municipality-7 in custody on November 13 on charge of raping a 3-year-old girl. A single bench of District Court Judge Rajendra Adhikari issued a verdict in this case. The accused was arrested on October 18 and was remanded in Rajbiraj prison, according to the court order. He was accused of raping the girl at Macha Galli of Rajbiraj Municipality-7, luring her for chocolate. He was later held by the locals and handed over to the police. The victim's mother had lodged an FIR on October 19 against him. The victim underwent a health checkup at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital at Rajbiraj On the same day.
